Strategies to enrich hands-on science learning, virtually

In this workshop, Theresa Liao and Andrzej Kotlicki from UBC Physics & Astronomy will share their experiences running science activities – student labs, virtual workshops, and science competitions – virtually while ensuring that the activities remain hands-on, interactive, and engaging. Then we will discuss how you can leverage outreach resources provided by universities to enrich your in-person or online lessons. We will cover experiences from a range of grade levels, and provide opportunities at the end of the session for teachers to exchange ideas.
